How Can A Blister Near The Buttocks Be Treated?

Question: Hi! My daughter had a blister looking thing on her upper back leg near her buttocks two days ago. It has since scabbed over but it looks larger. Does this look abnormal?

Hi.
Thanks for your query, albeit short and specific.
Noted the history and understood your concerns about your daughter.
Also seen the photo.
Since the lesion has got scabbed so early, this does not look that abnormal.
Looks to be boil that got ruptured, or a trauma by nail or some object that got infected but got under control too.
I would advise her the following:
Apply liquid povidone iodine locally.
Keep under observation and if there is any sign of increase in size, redness, pain, tenderness, red ring around or swelling underneath, please consult a Doctor to get a prescription based antibiotic and anti-inflammatory.
