Posted on Sat, 29 Apr 2017
Question: Today, I have done my USG and it has been found a 3 mm stone in my right kidney. I am having a pain on left side of the stomach and on the back as well. Any treatment to cure this? I have attached my USG Report. Please review the whole report and suggest on the findings.

Currently, I am also having a prostate infection.

Sorry I meant to mention the pain on the right side of the stomach and back.

Brief Answer:
Calculus in Rt kidney being very small there is nothing to be done .

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks ffor query .

Based on the facts that you have pain in Rt side back and on USG detected to have a non obstructing calculus of size of 3 mm in Rt middle calyx.

Since the calculus is very small and non obstructing nothing active is to be done .
You can expect it to pass down spontaneously through ureter and then through urinary passage Following general measure will help to pass out the stone at ease .
1) Drink more water to produce more urine
2) Continue antibiotic that you are taking for prostate problem This will take care of UTI
3) Take Tomsulosin once daily .
4) Repeat USG after 3 weeks .
5) May take pain killers like Diclofenac if pain is very severe .

This will help to pass out the stone at ease .

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions ,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.
