Brief Answer: My reply is below. Detailed Answer: Hi, Thank you for posting your query. Initially, we need to look at symptoms, such as pain, tingling, numbness on the outer aspect of foot and sole. Then, the diagnosis can be confirmed by doing a nerve conduction studies of both feet and legs. This would show a reduced SNAP-sensory nerve action potential-on the affected side. Distal latency may be prolonged on the affected side. The confirmation of diagnosis can be done under the guidance of a neurologist. I hope my answer helps.
