My wife last period started on 19th Feb. Today on 19th March we did an unprotected sex. She took a unwanted 72 within 1 hr. What is the chances of pregnancy?
By the way she did not have regular period and it always late by 3-10 days.

1) Safe period CAN'T be predicted with irregular cycle. However, Unwanted 72 pill gives more than 99% protection (as taken within 1 hr) against unwanted pregnancy and her chance of pregnancy is extremely LOW or NIL.
2) She will get a period like withdrawal bleeding within 3 to 5 days due to effect of the pill and it is quite common phenomena. It will stop automatically without need of treatment. However, next period may be delayed for 1 to 2 weeks.

I have another question that she is taking a thyroid medicine daily basis. The name of the medicine is "Thyronorm 62.5 mcg". Can this medicine take any affects on Unwanted 72 and can stop Unwanted 72's work?
On more thing how many days we can wait maximum if she will not face any withdrawal bleeding within 3 to 5 days? What is the next steps, is there any further medicine?
We do not want to go for abortion and at the same time we do not want baby this time, please help, we are really tensed as this has not happened earlier in our married life.
