What Does The Following MRI Scan Report Indicate?

Question: Hi,
I have broken 2nd,3rd and 4th metatarsal in XXXXXXX and still experience pain along 2nd and 4th meatarsal.
I had a MRI scan and had a result and waiting for a follow up consulation, however I would like a second opinion on this.

Extensive soft tissue injury has delayed healing.

The MRI scan suggests extensive soft tissue injury with fractures of metatarsals. There is no comment on extent of healing. Due to extensive soft tissue injury, the healing is taking time. A persistent pain is due to delayed healing. It is best to remain non weight bearing for 3-4 weeks more and let it heal conservatively.
