Question: Hi Doctor, I just went to the bathroom and noticed when I was wiping myself that I had some blood in my Kotex I am thinking from my vagina and when I was wiping my rear there was some over there too. These things started 2 days ago. I get also very bloated at night or during the day and today my abdomen hurt a bit. My last period was 2 weeks ago and I have had irregular menstrual cycles before. There was no blood in a stool since I didn't have any today yesterday and the day before I saw also some blood where the vagina is and near my rear and there was no blood in the stool. Am I menstruating again and am I ok? I have had a small hemorrhoid in my rear since 2010 many times it doesn't bother me.

Brief Answer:
Proper examination is required

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Blood on wiping can be due to vaginal bleeding or bleeding from haemorrhoids.
Sometimes, the haemorrhoids present as blood on wiping only, and this needs to be ruled out with proper examination.
Vaginal bleeding, if irregular, can be due to hormonal disturbances, or can be due to local lesions in the cervix or vagina including cervical cancer.
I will suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined internally and get appropriate treatment.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
