Hi XXXXX,

The information provided indicates that your BMI is 17.9 Kg/m2. This value is below the normal range and as asked by you, a weight gain diet program would be helpful along with regular exercises.

Be careful with what you eat, a weight gain diet has to be balanced and healthy. Consuming calories alone would increase the fat mass; which may lead to health problems later. Therefore, it’s advisable to consume more proteins and do regular exercises for building the muscle mass. Include milk and its products, soy and its products, mushroom, mature legumes and pulses and dry fruits and nuts in your daily diet. If you are a non – vegetarian, consider egg (white only) and white meats in non-fried form for good quality protein.

Taking small and frequent meals would be helpful, and do not eat or drink around the main meal timings to save the appetite for the meals.

You may include potato, yam, rice and breads in the diet for required calories. Fruits and vegetable are also important as they provide means for better digestion and assimilation of the food consumed. Always keep the handy snacks with you, for e.g. peanut Chikki, roasted nuts, dry fruits, sprouts and roasted channa, and take plenty of water and other hydrating liquids. Avoid bakery and commercially prepared foods as they contain additives and preservatives.
Weight gain is a slow process, follow your set diet and eating routine and timings, never skip meals and also avoid eating more than the intended quantities. Be persistent and focused.

Hope this satisfies your query. XXXXXXX

Hi,

Why do you want to stop oiling your hair? Oiling of hair is a must for good texture and conditioning of your hair. We must apply oil to hair at least once a week and nourish the hair.

If you stop applying oil to your hair, it would become more dry and bad, as you say. In my opinion, you must continue to apply oil.

There is no better substitute to oil. For the Dandruff, you may consider using Nizral shampoo twice a week. If you stop oiling your hair, the dandruff problem would increase as well.

I hope I am clear to you. Let me know if you have more queries.

My Fiance is worried about her breast being small. can you suggest anything on this ?

Yes, sure.

Your fiancé may opt for breast implants that are routinely done these days. This surgery would enhance her breast volume and allay her worries.

She needs to consult a Cosmetic surgeon for the same.
