Hi
Thanks for the query

The symptoms you have mentioned sounds like arthritis however i would require information like is there any swelling at knee joint. how is the temperature of that joint. any trauma to that joint? any specific time of pain? any relieving or aggravating factors?

Will be waiting for your reply

There is minor if any swelling. No change in temperature. Isn't it likely it is a ligament, if so can it heal on its own with rest? No trauma, other than the intial pop occured while jogging...

Hi
Thanks for the reply

The problem seems to be an injury to the ligament with stretch. An X-ray would be quite helpful to assess the ligament. if the there is mild inflammation it would heal itself but orthopedic consultation is recommended for proper assessment. anti inflammatory drugs can used for pain.

If you still have some queries feel free to ask

Thanks
