Question: thank you l am 80 yrs ab=nd l started to have swelling of my ankels.what could l do to stop this

There are many causes for swelling of ankles. It could be due to cardiac, renal, metabolic, liver disease, thyroid problem or local causes.

So it is better to gt it evaluated by your doctor for proper cause and definitive treatment according to that.

To reduce the swelling ,get your ankles and feet elevated.
Avoid long hours of standing and walking.
