Brief Answer:
Due to Cervical/ uterus/vaginal atrophy problem

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for choosing XXXXXXX Sometimes cerival or endometrial(uterus) lesions or cervical congestion due to Cervicitis i.e infection of cervix can lead to this symptom. Also if there could be any small cervical poly which also can cause similar symptom. Just PAP smear will not rule out other causes.
To be on safer side, I advise you to get a pelvic scan to check for any uterus problem, endometrial thickness and any ovarian problem. If everything is normal, a repeat PAP smear is helpful.
Sometimes endometrial atrophy or vaginal atrophy can lead to few spotting episode, in that case treatment is simple with Oestrogen cream applied vaginally is much helpful.
