Having Pain In Chest Around Sternum. Cure?

Question: Hi I have continuing pain in the chest around my sternum level! The pain comes and goes and has been like it for a few days now.

Hi,

This seems to be a condition called costochondritis.
It is an inflammation around the bones of chest like sternum and ribs.
There is no specific cause for the same, generally anti inflammatory agents like NSAIDs (panadol) and local therapy like hot fomentation help.

Any cardiac problem however should be ruled out by doing an ECG. Hence you can plan the test which you take panadol twice daily with hot compresses.
