Hi XXXXXXX
Welcome to XXXXXXX forum.

With the available described symptoms, there appears to be least chances of acidity.
Back of neck contains muscles along with nerves and cervical vertebrae.
Neck pain could be due to bony pathology or due to muscle sprain.
Muscle sprain could be due to wrong posture of sitting or using hard elevated pillows.

As such there appears to be negligible chances of acidity as all gastrointestinal organs are present on the front aspect of body not on the back side.

You should consult with XXXXXXX medicine specialist/ orthopedic surgeon and should go for thorough check up.
You should go for complete neurological examinations.

You should go for cervical spine x XXXXXXX erythrocyte sedimentation rate, and CT/ MRI scan of cervical spine if necessary.
You should take analgesics along with muscle relaxants.
You should also perform physiotherapy for relaxation of neck muscles.
Take proper bed rest.

Hope that helps.
Let me know your other query.
Take care,
