Having lot of burning sensation in the upper part of tummy. Is there any cure?

Hello Doctor

I have been having lot of burning sensation in the upper part of my tummy almost on a daily basis. This burning sensation occurs especially if I eat cheese, paneer, grams etc.

Is there any remedy for this?

Burning sensation in the upper abdomen could be due to increased acidity. It could be gastritis or an ulcer.

An upper gastrointestinal endoscopy may be done for evaluation.

Medications like esomeprazole may be taken for relief.

Hi ,
Yes, you need to consult a gastroenterologist who will be doing the endoscopy.

You need to avoid spicy food, oily food, citrus, tomatos and coffee.
