Question: Have been having intermittent dizzy spells (feeling of going to faint) over the past few days. Have had echo car -diagram at my physician and heart is terrific. Nothing else on the list of symptoms really rings a bell except perhaps an inclination to bloating and a bit if constipation. Am presently in Florida and do keep well hydrated...Puzzled...Thank you!

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

Anaemia, postural hypotension are some common causes / likely excluded already by your cardiologist
The body's balancing mechanism is in the inner ear. An ENT (Ear Nose Throat) specialist is the one to see - they have special tests to confirm or exclude the contribution of the ear.
If the ear is excluded, you have to be followed up by a neurologist. / MRI may be needed. MRA (MRI angiography) shows blood vessels and is generally done at the same sitting.
If there are no clues, see Cardiologist again! - HOLTER (24 to 48 hour ambulatory monitoring – for arrhythmia) / TMT (Treadmill exercise ECG – for ischemia) / LABORATORY work-up – may all be necessary for further assessment and assistance.

Wishing all well

Good luck
