Hi there, thanks for asking. as you mentioned, headaches and chest pain can be manifestations of the anxiety. If all the work ups and medications have not been useful, they are probably due to anxiety. In many cases chronic anxiety is well controlled with a medication from the class of SSRI. They are safe drugs and they do not cause dependence. In many cases, it is possible to stop the medication after 6 or 9 months.
They could be also part of fibromyalgia symptoms if you have several tender points in your body. In that case, it should be investigated by your doctor if you have low mood or sleep problem. If so, it should be managed.
