Brief Answer:
There are numerous causes of Oedematous legs.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for writing to XXXXXXX

There are numerous causes that produce swelling (Oedema) in the legs. To arrive at a possible diagnosis of your condition, I need some more information on your symptoms. Please answer the below mentioned questions as elaborately as possible -

- what is the duration of the swelling in legs (days, weeks, months etc)
- Is the swelling present in one leg or both the legs
- Is the oedema (swelling) pitting (indents producing a pit when pressed with finger) or Nonpitting type
- Is the swelling associated with pain in the legs
- Is there any history of systemic disease (heart, liver, or kidney disease)
- Any medicines that are being taken by you? if yes, since how long?
- Does the swelling in the legs improves in the nights or totally resolves during night hours
- Are you over weight or Obese
- Is there any discolouration of skin over the swollen area

Regards
