Question: hi, am 32. mine is a combination to oily skin. I often get pimples. I have consulted dermatologist and she asked me to take pimple treatment and gave me Flucos and LAZ 250 tablets as a 15 day course. and also asked me to use lumifair advanced day cream and suncros aqua gel during, these are fine during summer. till 3 months my sink was pimple free. but now again I found pimples which are red and burning. I am using sebamed visio active gel during night, this seems to be a good one and am happy with this gel. am worried about a day cream. Please suggest me a good fairness, pimple free day cream, (anti ageing - ), formulae, for Summer and winter(may or may not different creams for each season). I would like to hear from Dermatologist also provide me ur suggestions.
thanks and regards, XXXXXXX

Hi XXXXXXX

You are having oily skin... Seborrhoea.

Your skin is prone for acne vulgaris, right?

After healing of acne lesions, you are having hypermelanotic spots, for that you are more concern.

Before my advice, I would like to ask you few questions.

Besides lesions on face, do you have lesions elsewere?

From how long you have pimples on your face?

On which part of the face, lesions you have?

Is it increasing under sun?

Do you have any stress?

What is your job?

Is there any history of any disease..like diabetes, thyroid dysfunction, anaemia or any other..

Are you taking contraceptive pills?

Do you take any medicine other than you mentioned for other disease?

Any gynaecologial problem?..menstrual function?

Any family history of any disease?

Please post the close up photograph of your face and the areas affected..

Please reply, so that I can give you proper advice.

Regards.

Hi, XXXXXXX

Thanks for reply.

You are having seborrhoea , adult acne and discoloration.

Immunity seems to be poor due to stress and disease you had.

I advise to take antibiotics and retinoids for few weeks orally.

You may apply comedolytic gel like retnoid gel in low strenth.

You should avoid stress and worries.

Avoid sun exposure.

I hope you got my answer.

Thanks

Hi again,

You can take azithromycin three tab in a week in morning one in morning for three consecutive days for 3 months..

Oral retnoids like tretinoin daily at night may be taken for long time till you feel better. There may be side effects like dry lip.. chelitis, then it should be stopped.

Retinod gel like retop A or ret A 0.012 percent may be applied at night on acne lesions at night.

Please do not use any other day cream or cosmetics..

I hope you got my answer.

Have good health.
