Have Kidney Stones And Recurring UTI. Required Treatment?

Question: I have 2 stones in both the kidneys. One in left and one in right kidney. Also I have recurring Urinary Tract infection. Please advise.

The stones need treatment if they are more than 8 mm each. If they are in the kidney, you need lithotripsy to fragment the stones into very tiny pieces, so that they will be passed out in the urine.
If the size is less than that, water intake and dietary measures are good enough.

The infection needs to be treated with full dose antibiotics for one week and half the dose for about three to six months, since you get repeated episodes of infection.
Also, since you get repeated attacks and with the presence of stones, it is better to get an IVP done to check for obstruction or other anomalies in the urinary tract.
