Have Itchy Skin All Over Body After Unprotected Sex. Have Had HEB B Vaccine. What Cause Itchy Skin?
Question: I have itchy skin all over my body. I have a couple possible causes. I quit chewing after 5 years- and after 2 years of tabacoo free I recently started back up. My girlfriend moved to another state and itching started weekend after having unprotected sex. But I have had HEB B vaccination. And I have came in contact with a fish that had worms. Could any of these cause itchy skin?

There are several causes of itching and common cause of itching are:-
- Dry skin
-Generalized itching without specific skin changes include metabolic problems like cholestasis(obstructive jaundice) or liver problems- these could be aggravated by resuming tobacco chewing.
-Reactions to drugs,insect stings and bites such as from mosquito or flea bites or in your case fish with worm infestation.
-Fungal infection psoriasis,ringworm,
-Scabies which is a highly contagious skin problem caused by scabies mite,
-Stress and anxiety can also result in or aggravate itch.
Unprotected sexual intercourse is not likely to cause the generalized itching like you are having.
So here it is important to find the cause of your itch and treatment will be according to the cause.
Presently since your symptoms are disturbing your day today life you can take medicines like Loratidine(Claritin) or Benadryl(diphenhydramine).
Locally anti itch lotions like diphenhydramine or Caladryl shall help reduce the itching.
Also it will be better to consult a Dermatologist and get yourself examined and if needed investigated.
He will diagnose your problem and treat you accordingly.
