I had jaundice a few days back. I also got my lipid test done. Cholestrol shows as 243. My doc says this isnusual after jaundice and there's nothing to worry about.. Is this true?

Yes, your doctor is correct.

If you are recovering from jaundice, during cholestatic phase, your lipid profile may get deranged. So, do not worry. You can check your lipid profile after 3 months and then take a call.

Hope this answers your query.

Wish you a speedy recovery.
