Have Flaking Finger Nails On Hands. Nails Short. Cause?
Question: I have flaking finger nails that started about 2 month ago. it is on both hands and effects all fingers. My nails are short. . What can cause this to start all of a suddon?

It is difficult to identify the exact cause.
At this age of 80, Vitamins and antioxidants deficiency are more common.
So if you are my patient, i will start with Multi vitamin supplements and Nutrient XXXXXXX diet for 3 to 6 months.
Most of my patients the change in their nails and they begin to become normal.
If you do not get any cure, i will start my investigation with Hemoglobin and iron levels, Thyroid hormones, blood sugar and will treat accordingly.
