Question: 18 year old son has pain mid chest and toward stomach. Gave him omeprozol tums malanga and ginger ale with no impact. Said it comes in spasms.

Thanks for consulting us.
You have tried common remedies to treat heartburn. Remember, Your boy is having pain & not just burning.
There could be many causes for that e.g. Gastric or peptic ulcer, perforation, any problem with pancreas, oesophagus or even heart. A hiatus hernia may cause pain in that area. He needs medical review.
Please take him to an ER for complete medical help which can only be given once a diagnosis is made after full history, clinical examination & necessary investigations.
