Hard Lump Appeared Under Chin And It Is Tender To Touch. How To Remove This?
Question: my 12 year old son has a hard lump about the size of a dime under his chin...he said it is tender to touch and he said when he first noticed it he was stretching and then the whole right side of his face went numb...please help

A hard lump under the chin and tender is likely to be an enlarged lymph node.
This usually happens when there is some infection in mouth,tonsillitis,mouth ulcers, etc.
When that infection clears ,this also will subside.
The second rare possibility is local infection like evolving abscess.
In either case ,he will need antibiotics .Please show him to the doctor.( pediatrician).
Till you reach the doctor,you can give him paracetamol tab 500 mgs (tylenol) every 6 hrs for pain.
