Hi,

Welcome to XXXXXXX

Belara tablet is an oral contraceptive.

Probably, each tablet of Belara contains, 0.03 mg of ethinyl oestradiol and 2mg of chlormadinone acetate.

Thus two tablets of Belara will contain only 0.06mg of ethinyl oestradiol, while quantity of it required for emergency contraception is more, thus it may or may not work as emergency contraceptive.

You should consult a Gynecologist to know the exact dose of it required for emergency contraception.

I will like to know date of your previous menstrual period and average duration of your menstrual cycle.

If you have further query, please feel free to ask.

Hi,

Welcome again,

As per date of your last menstrual period, 14th July was not safe for sex.

Four tablets of Belara are expected to work as emergency contraceptive, and you may require to repeat the dose after 12 hours. But you should take it with consent and under supervision of your Gynecologist.

For exact dose as emergency contraceptive, you can go through the literature available with Belara tablet.

If you have further query, please feel free to ask.
