Posted on Fri, 25 Oct 2013
Question: Had unprotected rubbing (not fully inside vagina) with my partner 5 days ago, how can we know whether she will have a chance of pregnancy? The time for birth control pill is over, whats next? watch whether she misses periods? When to do blood test? now itself? or after she misses periods?

Brief Answer:
PREGNANCY TEST ONCE PERIODS ARE MISSED.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
If you did not actually penetrate the vagina and have vaginal intercourse, then there are no chances of pregnancy.
Still to be sure if you wish to take a pregnancy test then take a urine pregnancy test once she skips her period by a day or two.
There is no need for a blood test, a urine test is enough.
Please do not worry right now, as you can do nothing about it now.
All the best.
