Question: Hi Dr,
I had an unprotected oral sex 7 days back. She sucked my pennis for 30 mins. We didn't have unprorected intercourse. After 4-5 days of this event, I am getting a lot of itching in my pennis and there is a lot of redness comes on the top of the head of my pennnis. Itching is very extensive, I have to scratch my whole pennis like any thing. I am worried as well . Is it a sort of STD?? can it be HIV as well, Please advice ,I am very tensed....What should I do now?? I didn't have any cut or any wound at the time of oral sex...And one more thing Dr. There is some pain in my penis as well. I am really worried. I always feel scratching my penis.
Please advice....

Hi XXXXXXX,

Thanks for writing in.

Before going ahead I would like to know-

Do you have any ulcers/erosions/sores on penis?
Is there burning sensation?
Did the girl had any visible ulcers sore on lips/oral cavity?
Have you tried any new soap/cosmetic/clothing recently?
Do you similar lesions/itching on any other body part?

answer the above questions to help you better.

Also mail me the photos of the affected area(penis)to have a better understanding of your problem.

Photos can be uploaded securely by using UPLOAD YOUR REPORTS section on right.

Or you can mail me those at YYYY@YYYY .

Till then you can take Ibuprofen and paracetamol tablets for pain and tab Zyrtec for itching.

Hope this helps.

Hi again,

Thanks for the details.

Considering all your symptoms I dont think you have any STD at present.

Itching must be due to contact dermatitis.

You can take tablet tablet Allegra (180) daily for itching.

Also you can apply Candid B cream over the head of penis twice a day.

Both these will be helpful.

Also upload the photos and we can continue the discussion here.

Hope this helps.

Regards.
