Question: Why Does 81 Mg Aspirin Make Me Very Nervous !! I Had A Heart Attck XXXXXXX 7th 2013 , had 3 stents placed in my right artery . Im Takeing Metotropolo 3 times a day , 80 mg Lipitor at night . I Wake Up Nausea Everyday , Most Days Last All Day !!! I Have Very High Aniexity , Im On A 1 Mg Xanax Twice A Day !!! What You Think Please !!! My Name Is XXXX !!!!!

The nausea, breathlessness and feeling of heaviness in the chest are the symptoms seen in gastritis. Aspirin being an NSAID is known to cause gastritis by breaking the protective mucus layer lining the stomach.

Need not worry, taking an antacid like Gelusil or Tums would reduce your symptoms.
The other medications have no role in your symptoms other than Metoprolol which can cause decreased heart rate.

Do get your medications revised regularly to avoid long term side effects.

My Stomach Doctor Has Got Me On 1 Dexilant 60 mg Once A Day , Been On It 3 Weeks Now , But Still Not Well , He Put Me On 4 More Weeks Of It !!! Do You Thank That It Will Heal !!! By The Way I Drink Sprite All Day Long , Is That Good Or Bad , Some Water In Between !!!! What Do You Think As Far As This Healing me , And Will I Need To Be On This Possible Longer !!! And The Xanax Im Takeing Should Be Ok , I Break Up A 1 Mg In Half And Take One Half Of It 4 Times A Day Spaced Out !!! Please Give Me Your Reasoning Or Opinion On All This !!! My Blood Pressure is Running 125/76 , Pulse Is Reading 52 , 55 , 56 , !!! What Do You Thank And Im Takeing Lipitor Just Before I Go To Bed , Do You Think Its Causeing The Nausea In The Mornings And Off & On All Day !!!! It takes time for the Dexilant to show some response. Do continue for some more time. The effect of this drug on gastritis is slow but potent.

Do avoid carbonated drinks they tend to increase the gastritis.

Xanax dosage is fine, reduce further more to avoid dependence.

Lipitor (atorvastatin) could cause nausea added to this Aspirin making it worse.

Blood pressure and pulse variation is normal. Metoprolol could affect it keep a watch.

The side effect profile of the medication you are on is wide. You may be getting more sick due to the medications itself if you are on them for a long time. Do get the medications revised regularly.

Ive Been On The Dexilant For 3 Weeks Already !!!! I Eat A XXXXXXX Cracker And Then Take 1 Pill , Thats Ok Isnt It !!!! My Gastritis Has To Be Bad , Im Asumeing because They Give Me All That 350 Mg Aspirin For Several Weeks After My Heart Attack , Now Im On 1 81 Mg Aspirin Per Day , Should I Drink Alittle Milk Before I Take It Because My Stomach Is In Such Bad Shape , What Would You Do Please !!!!! It may take more than a month for gastritis to disappear specially when on aspirin.

Ok I Want !!! Another Question Please !!! As Ive Told You I Had A Heart Attack On XXXXXXX 7th , Doing Pretty Good , Except This Palpatations , Thats Why Im Takeing The Metoprolol , Does This Med Help The Blood Pressure And Stop the Palpatations To , I Was Told Yes By My Doctor , But Almost Everyday I Have The Palpatations , He Has Me Takeing 3 Metoprolol A Day If Needed , Some Days I Take 2 , Some Days I Take 3 !!!! By Your Opinion , Will These Palpatations Go Away Completely , And How Long You Think It Will Take , They Drive Me Crazy , Im Not Use To This Heart Acting Up Like This , Is There Any Other medicine I Can Take With This Metoprolol , At The Same Time To Help Keep The Palpatations Stop For Longer Periods Of Time , Like All Day Maybe !!!!! My Doctor Put Me On Lipitor After My Heart Attack , IWas And Have Been Getting Sick Everyday Since Then , So My Wife Suggested I Stop Takeing It For A Few Days And See If Thats What It Was , And Sure Enough I Feel Better Or Not Sick When I (DONT) Take It !!!
