Question: MY WIDAL TEST RESULTS SHOW ; O-1:40 , H-1:80 , AH-1:80, BH-1:80 WHAT IS THE RESULT, WHETHER IT TESTS POSITIVE FOR TYPHOID OR JUST AN INFECTION.

it is not active typhoid infection

I have read your query with the test report.

Your test is not positive for Typhoid neither does it suggest active infection by typhoid bacilli.

The titers are too low at 1:40 and 1: 80.

You may consider taking a 5 days presumptive treatment with ciprofloxacin twice daily as an empirical treatment.
