Found Swelling And Inflamed Area On Testicle And Penis. How To Get Relief?
Question: My husband has just found a swelling and inflamed area on one side of his mon pubis. He is worried, should he be? There is no swelling in his testicles just the area above the penis.

Such symptoms can be caused by inguinal hernia, enlarged lymph nodes or some benign tumor like sebaceous cyst. And as the last one can be left alone without medical attention (as long as it does not hurt), hernia and lymph nodes enlargement need to be verified.
It is advisable for your husband to have this region ultrasound (it will tell what is he dealing with) and fool blood work.
