Hi,

Thanks for your query.

The feeling of pressure in the ear with heart beat is a typically seen symptom in CSOM (Chronic serous otitis media). This occurs due to infection in the middle ear and subsequent collection of the fluid in the middle ear.

The condition is painful but rarely can present only with pressure symptoms.

I would ask you to get examined by a ENT (Ear Nose Throat) specialist and ascertain the diagnosis.

A course of antibiotics may help by reducing the inflammation, but it is always better to diagnose it before any treatment.

Hope I answered your query.

Wish you good health.
