Question: hello im XXXXXXX ive been having some tingly pains under my left underarm kinda feels a little numb at times. and ive also have had problems making a bowel movement. could this be from gas.

Hello, XXXXXXX,
The description of your pain is not quite in the same
area of nerve distribution.Even if you had gas trapped
in the part of the colon that is close to your liver, the
pain would be more in the left upper quadrant of the
abdomen.The arm is more closely connected to the
nerves that are close to the neck, it is unlikely that
constipation and gas build up is the cause.
Some infection in that area might be the reason.
Feel under the left armpit to see if you feel any
swollen glands.
As for constipation, make sure you have adequate
fiber intake along with fluid intake.
