My eyes feel tired. When I close my eyes, it feels better. What could be the reason and what could be the remedy.

Thanks for your query.

Dryness in the eyes due to deficiency of tears could lead to such symptoms. I suggest you to apply artificial tears like Systane a drop in each eye every 6 hours for two days to get rid of the symptoms.
