Our stomach produce XXXXXXX also called as gastric acid along with digestive enzyme to digest food and with that our stomach is lined by mucosa resistant to get digested by these acid with the help of secretion. When there is imbalance the acid act on gastric mucosa and digest them to cause gastritis/PUD.
In GERD the acid get refluxed above the cardiac sphincter and burn the lining of the mucosa of lower part of oesophagus. This gastro esophagial reflux disease.
Sometimes H Pylori also act on mucsa causing ulcer of lining of stomach (mucosa).
Thise are the simple way of understanding the cause and problem in PUD, Gastritis and GERD.
