Brief Answer:
Combination Of Diet and Exercises required

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXX,

Thank you for posting the query.

The reason for increased weight is mainly the lack of balanced diet and activity. some people are able to see the results with a modified diet only, but for some, exercises and increasing the activity index is required.

Reducing the calorie intake and introducing the healthy fats like olive, corn and other vegetable oils helps. Avoid sugar and fatty fried food, instead start experimenting with healthier snacks like, sprouts chaat or Steamed preparations, like Dhokla and idli.

Enjoy variety of salads and grilled dishes.. Fruits and vegetables provides very good quality fiber, which adds bulk to the diet and keep you safe from feeling hungry too soon. Dividing the meals into smaller but frequent portions distributes total calories evenly throughout the day and reduces the chances of fat accumulation. It is very important that you take your meals on time and don't forget to include plenty of water in the diet. Tender coconut water, fresh soups, sugarless green tea, wheat grass juice and other sugar free drinks are helpful.

Simple exercises like brisk walk and skipping helps in regulating the body weight. you may also try crunches and suryanamaskara.

So, make sure that the physical activities are done on regular basis.

Hope this would Help.

Brief Answer:
Dietary Supplements are not required

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXX,

Thank for the quick response.

Dietary supplements are generally not required, if you are able to take the regular meals on time and with convenience. These are advised when there is a special requirement for certain nutrients. The supplements should always be taken after consulting with a doctor or a dietitian.

I would advise that you take the fresh and healthy meals on time, and maintain the nutritional balance of the food. Taking the meal replacement formulations, is not permanent and on discontinuation there are chances of getting the old fat back.

Therefore it is advised that you start making changes in your daily routine, as this would set the lifestyle modifications for a longer duration.

Hope this satisfies your query.
