Hi,

Thanks for your query.

I have read your query & I understand your concerns.

Following is my reply:

1) Your sperm count shows asthenospermia ( means majority spers are not rapid / fast moving).

2) Other parameters seem to be ok.

3) Your wife's reports are fine. Please get tube test cahhed HSG to check patency of fallopian tubes of your wife,

4) If tubes are normal, go ahead with a procedure called IUI ( Intrauterine insemination) where best of your sperms are separated and directly introduced into womb of your wife. Please see a gynecologist for the same.

I hope I answered your query. I will be available for any followup queries you have.

hi Thanks for the reply .

We are already seeing a gyne.

but wanted to crosscheck the following :-

1. I have been prescribed Andro Gardian (thrice daily) is this ok.

2. Can motility be increased with these medicines along with better diet supplements.

3. Do I need to get testosterone tests done.

4. Is there any use waiting for another 2-3 cycles trying naturally.

5. Is IUI 100% successful and are there any complications related to the whole procedure.

6. What is the cost of the IUI?

Regards.

Hi,

I understand your wish to verify facts. Following is my reply:

1) These tablets you are taking are combination of antioxidants, multivitamins and other small ingredients which are good for you to take as per your doctor's prescription.

2) Dietary changes may not help much but continue with these medicines.

3) No need to get testesterone levels done.

4) You can wait some more time and try naturally. No harm.

5) There is no 100 % success in infertility treatments as of now. IUI has between 5 to 20 % chances of conception and are little higher than trying naturally. Especially in astheno spermia.

6) Cost of IUI differs in each clinic and ranges between 3 to 15 thousand.

Your doubts might have been cleared by now.
