Does Usage Of Doxycycline Help In Curing Acne Problems?

Question: Is it ok to use doxycline for acne? Would long use cause kidney damage? If you know of any natural remedies please let me know.

I have gone through your query. Doxycycline has side effects like any other antibiotics. But it is considerably safe for kidneys. Even it can be used in those having renal impairment. It can have side effects like photosensitivity , abdominal discomfort , dysbacteriosis and diarrhoea. If other alternatives work then better to avoid it.
You can do gentle face wash twice daily with acne soap. Diet is a very important factor in preventing acne. Avoid fatty , greasy , fried foods and junks. Excess of sugar and sweets also can stimulate acne. Take more anti oxidants in your diet. Taking citrus fruits like oranges, grape fruit and tomatoes are good for this. Take more plain water. Avoid excess coffee , alcohol , carbonated drinks and smoking. Get proper exercise daily. These all measures decrease acne occurrence.
You can apply gel containing aloe vera and benzoyl peroxide for treating acne. Applying fresh aloe vera juice on skin is also good for preventing acne.
