I would explain as follows:

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would explain that milk (Latte) has a great quantity of saturated fat , which cause a raise in the cholesterol plasma levels.

The percentage of fat, depends on the type of milk. Cow milk contains 4.5-5.5% of saturated fat, which you can raise triglycerides and cholesterol levels. The higher the fat content in milk, the more it can elevate LDL cholesterol levels. But some people are more sensitive to this effect than others.

Regarding coffee, you should know that different studies have shown coffee to increase LDL levels (which is the bad cholesterol). This is related to a substance called cafestol, which is present whether or not the coffee is decaffeinated.

So coffee and Late if taken frequently during the day, can cause a raise in the cholesterol levels.
