Does Excessive Masturbation Lead To Infertility?

Question: Hello my friend is 28 years old female and virgin and single, not having sex in lifetime , but the only problem she has is that she started masterbation 4 times a day from 3 weeks ago, and she wants to know how she can stop it or will it have any side effect or bad side effect on her or not? if she continue like this? Masturbation is natural and normal thing. It is done by 70-95% of the males and 30-45% females in the world. It is not at all harmful. Frequency of masturbation done by an individual varies from once a day to once a week. It depends upon individual libido, wish and timing. It neither causes any weakness nor any problem in sexual activity.

Masturbation 4 times a day is as such higher frequency than usual. We cannot call it abnormal at present. If someone has to masturbate compulsorily at cost of routine work or masturbation is creating problem in occupation and/or social life then only it is something abnormal and require treatment. Otherwise masturbation should be done as and when person feels to do it.

Masturbation requires calorie also. Doing it four times a day causes calorie burning which needs to be compensated with food intake.

I recommend reducing frequency once a day or maximum two sometime.

- Does she stimulate clitoris or vagina or both?

1. She uses finger for doing it
2. stimulate clitoris
3. maximum 20 mins for each mastarbatiun
4. a little compulsion and she saying might be bad for being pregnant in future or she doing it more than 4 times a day.

Clitoris stimulation with finger is very safe technique. No chances of infection.

She used to spend 80 minutes a day. That is more time.

With will she can reduce frequency to once a day to maximum twice a week.

If she cannot reduce the activity, detail counseling and/or medicines will help.

As such this is there since only 3 weeks she can control herself without professional help.

Just ask her that she should not use masturbation as stress relieving factor.

In any case this is not going to affect her capacity to be pregnant, no need to worry about the same.
