Question: Can excessive masturbation cause penile swelling. I m having problems with my urethra after i masturbarted, i cant even bear a touch if underwear, sometimes pain in testis too and also pain in penis when erect. I m not sure what to do, its very discomfirting situation. Affecting my work and life.

1. Masturbation is a safe sexual practice and should be done in limit. It can be done 2 to 3 times in a week and not more than once daily.

2. Masturbation is done slowly and gently. Doing it fast and violently can injure the soft tissue in penis.

3. The head of penis is most sensitive and probably your pain is from doing too much masturbation.

4. Right now you should avoid masturbation for a week so that any friction injury in the penis heals completely. After that you can do masturbation slowly and gently. It should be done 2 to 3 times in a week.

5. To reduce the hypersensitivity of head of penis you can apply 2 percent lignocaine ointment in small amounts 2 times daily for a week. This will help control the increased sensitivity in the tip of your penis.

Thank you soo much for the answer, it helps alot and very much appreciated! I would like to know more about lignocaine, I tried to look for lignocaine in the pharmacy but cannot find, is it possible that its known by lidocaine ointment 5% in my Country, I live in UK.
