Does Applying Mint Oil On Penis Cause Any Problem?

Question: Hi Doc,

I did one of the stupid thing ...Accidentally I applied Mint oil ( Navaratna) to my penis, does this cause any damage to it like it can shrink my penis and soon.

I don't exactly remember when I applied min oil, but i remember(The day before) I was able to get proper and strong erections before my erection problem started.

Did I do any permanent damage can I get my erections back. Please help me.

Actually, you did not do any damage. It is just because of anxiety and psychological feeling of something went wrong, which is causing decreased erection. Please be tension free about this and you will be getting good erections.

I'm bit confused with your answer ( kindly be reassured).what it means?.

Do you think there is a problem?. How can i be reassured shall i undergo with any tests if so please recommend me with the test names

I can talk to a doctor to whom i'm visiting regularly and see what he can do.

Note: I applied mint oil(navaratna) only once,but i dont remember how much quantity i applied. does this effecting me.

I am sorry for the confusion. I meant DO NOT WORRY- by saying Kindly be reassured.

I do not think that there is a problem that has been caused by usage of oil. There were no reporting cases, causing this kind of problem by usage of such oil. I believe that your problem may be due to anxiety and psychological feeling of something went wrong. Anxiety is one of the common factor effecting erections many times.

I'm from Hyderadab too !! Now I'm in USA.

I had ultrasound test for blood flow on August 13th and doctor told me its all normal.

Today I've visited doctor again and request for Ultra sound report with images, but doctor and his nurse were saying that they don't have any images stored out of my ultrasound blood flow test, but I got report (doctors procedure ) what i went through on the day of my ultrasound test.

I'm uploading it for your reference. could you please have a look at it and let me know if every thing is normal or not.

Do you think I need to plan a trip to XXXXXXX to undergo the checkup's let me know If so I will plan for it in a month or two.

It would be great if could provide me with your contact details and your availability, so I can talk to you more detail about my situaution.

I do not think that you need to plan a trip to XXXXXXX I suggest to be little patient and do appropriate follow ups with the treating doctor so that, actual cause of erectile dysfunction is known. Thanks a lot for your quick response.
Sure I will do regular followup's with Doctor here itself, but you believe Mint oil (Navartna) did cause erection problems?.
I'm problem was started like 3 to 4 months back, before that I was able to get proper erections when ever I want.

Hello Doctor,
Thanks for quick response to my questions.
I got one more question for you.
Doctor here in USA has prescribed a medicine cialis(tadalafil) 5mg to get erections during intercourse and asked me to take 45 minutes before intercourse.
I followed as per doctor recommendations took 5mg drug at the begining (Some time I use to respond on next day and I was able to perform for 2 to 3 days continiously), after that I'm not responding to 5mg so doctor told me to take 10 mg(means 2 tablets at a time), so I did still I was not able to respond for the drug.
Please suggest me what could be the reason for it.
Kindly help me.

I strongly believe that anxiety is effecting your sexual performance. Cialis working one time and not working soon after, means that something like anxiety is effecting your performance. Based on the given info and your age, I do not suspect any other major things which are causing sexual dysfunction. Please do follow with same doctor again, because he has ruled out certain things based on physical and investigations and so now he can com to actual diagnosis.

On the other hand I cannot be of great help this time as I do not have access to do physical exam on you.
