Brief Answer: Sudafed is the cause Detailed Answer: Hi and thank you so much for this query. I am so sorry to hear about testing positive for meths today. I understand it has taken a great toll on you with the CPS taking your son away. Pseudoephedrine(sudafed) is the principal raw material used in producing methamphetamines. This is the drug responsible for this possible test being positive. However, I question why they went to extremes to take your son away. You are not the first person testing positive for drugs and I wonder why. I hope they get to look into this and get you cleared. I hope you soon get reunited with your son. Feel free to ask for more information if need be. Thanks. Dr. Ditah, MD.

Death Cert Life ins., XXXXXXX Retirement etc Isn't it possable the vyvanse did not show up because I have not taken it since death and prior to that I was not taking it that often ?

Brief Answer: Thanks for following up Detailed Answer: I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your husband. Accept my sincere heartfelt condolence. If you have not taken Vynase recently, it will not show in urine but can show in the hair exam because it takes averagely 90days for products to test negative in the hair. It is but logical that the hair tested negative for meths because you have not taken sudafed long enough for it to have been incorporated into hair above the scalp that can be harvested for testing. I seem not too understand why they would be probing so deep into a possible drug abuse. Have you ever had a history like that or something related to drugs abuse? Talk with them. Let them hear you out before taking any actions. With this information, I would not have looked any further unless there are red flags somewhere that I have no clue to. I wish you well and do stay strong as you navigate this process. Dr. Ditah, MD.
