Question: I am taking AMTAS AT for high BP since last five years at bed time . Beside that I also take TONACT TG for high colestrol . I have under gone cervical CB junction surgery in march 2010 . My problem is as under . I observe that my HB level is remains arround 9.5 to 10.5 since last three years . I am a complete vegitarian , myself have tried too much to increase HB through foods advised by doctors but there is no improvement . My creatinine and all USG reports are normal . Is it de to side effect of TONACT TG OR AMTAS AT medicines ? Pl gide . XXXXX XXXXXXX Male Age 52 .

Have you got your ferritin levels checked?
