Does Rh Incompatibility In A Married Couple Cause Health Complication?

Question: I am a 28 yr old male B+ and I have recently proposed to a 19 yr old female O-, I am definitely going to go on with the marriage despite all i have read about Rh incompatibility. I need your advice on what precautions to take for a healthy family life.

Good to hear about your plans.

About Rh incompatibility you need not worry too much.

Only you have to bring this to doctor's notice during pregnancy and during delivery.
At time of delivery doctors give in injection , which prevents future complications.

This can be very well managed if doctors are aware before hand.

So this should not stop you from getting married.

If the first baby appears to be negative, does that mean no more shots for the subsequent pregnancies/deliveries?

Yes, that true.

Detailed Answer:
If baby has negative blood group like mother , though this is , mother wont need any shots.But there is no harm in taking shots.

If first baby has positive blood group and second baby is negative than also there is no problem.

But there is no harm if you take shots.
