Does Regestrone Tablet Cause Heavy Menstrual Bleeding?

Question: Hi i took regestrone tablet for 10 days to postpone my period. I got my period 3 days back, but i have less bleeding compared to my regular periods. i heard that after taking regestrone tablet next period will be heavy. Is that normal to have less bleeding?

Regesteron is progesterone hormone and it may cause heavy bleading but it is not always occur.
If you had less bleeding than there is no need to worry and it may occur due to hormonal imbalance.( progesterone cause withdrawal bleeding in estrogen primed epithelium).
