Does Oxytetracycline Interact With Clarithromycin?

Question: I am taking oxytetracycline and clarithromycin together for h.pylori. Is this correct. I am also taking bismuthate. Today i have had chronic diarr....and sickness. Could u please tell me what causes this sickness. I cannot eat and feel weak. Thank you!

I am so sorry to hear about this H. pylori. This is the name of the germ and it causes gastritis. treatment is with a combination of antibiotics of which clarithromycine and tetracycline is a good combination. This germ causes the stomach wall to be inflamed and that is the reason for the pain, nausea, body weakness, etc. It will soon be over. Be confident and exercise some patience about this. Please, avoid milk when taking tetracyclines as this can prevent proper absorption.
