Does Nexium Cause Burping?
Question: does nexium make you burp after you eat? I have a bleeding ulcer. It doesn't make me bloated and I think the burping helps relieve gas from my stomach that wouldn't come up without nexium. Please advise your thoughts.

Nexium contains esomeprazole which is used in treating GERD , dyspepsia and gastritis. The burping can occur with relieve from dyspepsia by the proton pump inhibitors. I would also advise adding a prokinetic such as itopride with the PPIs.
This would help relieve the burping adequately.
