I read your query and I understand your concerns about miscarriage.

I need following details before answering your question:

1) Miscarriage was unfortunate. What was the period of gestation. when was your last period date?

2) How was tuberculosis diagnosed ? Culture or PCR test ?

3) Please scan and attach the discharge copy from hospital after miscarriage.

I hope I answered your query. I will be available for any follow up query you have.

Brief Answer:
Tuberculosis is unlikely to be the reason

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

TB may not be reason for preterm, IUGR baby.

Many times PCR report is wrong. I think we should wait for genetic report.

Were you hypertensive or diabetic?

Brief Answer:
This is unlikely to be TB

Detailed Answer:
HI,

This does not seem to be tuberculosis. TB cannot be reason for such IUGR. In light of normal chromosomal parameters and IUGR it is difficult to explain.

I would suggest following line of management:

1) First see TB specialist and get tuberculosis diagnosis done by other methods like culture. PCR may be false positive.

2) If culture shows positive, start treatment for TB.

3) After this see a gynecologist. In XXXXXXX you can see Dr. XXXXXXX XXXXXXX who is good at such work. Her number is 0000. Please tell her Dr. Mahesh from XXXXXXX reffered you.
