Question: I developed what seemed like a yeast infection in my vagina 5 days ago. Last 2 days it is burning more & I have light bleeding.. About an hour ago I used a CVS generic brand of Monostat.

Monostat will help in controlling a yeast infection but if it is associated with a bacterial infection then oral antibiotics will be needed. It is best to visit your gynecologist and get a vaginal swab culture done and get proper medicines prescribed. The bleeding can happen due to vaginal dryness and the infection.
