Does MDMA Intake In Pregnancy Cause Deffects In The Fetus?
Question: I just recently took 3 pills of mdma over the weekend at a music festival. I am not a recreational drug user. This was a one time thing. 2 days later I took a pregnancy test due to extremely sore breasts. It was positive. It is saying I am 3+ weeks along. Will my baby ok? should I be concerned at all? I have read lots of articles saying even though I am only a few weeks the brain and motor skills have been developed. What do I do?

Taking mdma only once at 3 weeks of gestation - one week after the conception is not worrisome. By this time only implantation would have taken place. Fetal Organogenesis does not take place so soon.
Therefore, risk of birth defect, miscarriage motor and learning problems will be quite LOW or RARE. So, you wouldn't be worried much.
SUGGESTION: You would undergo QUADRUPLE TEST (within 15th to 22nd week) and FETAL ANOMALY SCAN (18th to 23rd week) to exclude RARE possibility. You can consult with your OBSTETRICIAN regarding this and do periodic check up as per schedule.
