Question: I had a bad case of shingles in July. I have been left with phn nerve pain. My question is does the phn nerve damage cause swelling or is the Lyrica I am taking twice a day 75 mgs

Lyrica / Pregabalin (dose PO 50–100 mg tid) used for post-herpetic neuralgia [PHN] as in your case ,can cause peripheral edema, joint swelling as side effects but you have not mentioned specific part involved in swelling. Phrenic nerve damage won't cause peripheral edema.
